Tonisha Johnson spent nearly 20 years reporting and anchoring news across Tennessee, North Carolina, and Ohio. Her career in broadcast journalism took her from federal courtrooms to classrooms, state legislatures to campaign trails, fashion runways to the fast-paced world of NASCAR. Whether covering education, crime, politics, or uplifting human-interest stories, her mission has always remained the same: to educate, encourage, and inspire through storytelling that makes a lasting impact.

Today, Tonisha continues to evolve in her craft as an independent documentary filmmaker. Her current work focuses on amplifying the voices and experiences of women over 40—shedding light on issues often left unspoken, and creating space for honest conversation, healing, and community.

Outside of her work, Tonisha finds joy in fashion runway shows, quiet moments in nature, and exploring the world—traveling to new countries whenever she gets the chance.
